The day after the meeting
The PTA meeting was fine. It lasted two hours and lots of issues were discussed. Everyone got to say their peace. So I guess the goals were met. I could have done better. I knew it would be a long topics laden meeting and I was nervous. I hate when that happens. I'm usually so good with public speaking, but I was shaking with nerves. That just casus everything else to go bad -- I can't get my thoughts together and I start stumbling my words. I was so mad at myself. But people told me it was a good meeting, and when I heard it enough, I started to believe it.
After the meeting, my husband rushed up to me to tell me that during the meeting he had called home to check on the kids. He found out that my father was sent to the hospital. God did that worry me! Add that to the news that my sister found some inflammed lumps on her breasts. She goes to the surgeon tomorrow. When my husband told me the news about my father I kind of just lost it.

Hi! I came across your Paris blog quite by accident, but I must say, I so enjoyed reading about your daily life there that I think I've read everything there is to read!! I've never replied to a blog before, or read one for that matter. I'm wondering if you are in fact Auntie M, and are you glad to back in the states? Also, are you ok? Is your family alright? I see that you your last post was in January 07.
I have a 22 yr old daughter who did her first semester of her senior yr in London, but she went to Paris on break. She and I have been there on vacation when she was younger also. Reading your wonderful stories brought back so many memories. Well, I hope that I will hear from you, but if not, I hope that you are alright. Lee
Hi there, is this Auntie M?
I just came across your Paris blog today and then realised the last post was quite some time ago :-(
I lived in Paris 20 years ago and go back as often as possible, and I'll be there in June 2008 - I'm teaching silk painting there, and I'm always looking for interesting stuff about Paris to share with students.
Best of luck with whatever you're up to, wherever you are.
Cheers
